Brief Overview

Peggy Eastman and her husband came to Vermont in 1971, fresh out of college "to be ski bums". Peggy's degree from Syracuse University in fashion merchandising and marketing got her the position of the "first female manager" of the women's department at the old JC Penney's in downtown Burlington.

In 1984 Peggy opened SportStyle in Shelburne, VT at the Jelly Mill Common. Peggy's business success over the next five years allowed her to expand and build the beautiful 9,000 square foot building SportStyle resides in at 1233 Shelburne Road in South Burlington, Vermont.
